Vesna‘s ‘Closet Project’ has been providing material assistance to families in need since 2021, with items such as clothing, shoes, toiletries, school supplies and household equipment (towels, sheets, bedding, blankets, dishes, cutlery, small furniture…). The service‘s low-threshold assistance is by appointment only.
The ‘Closet Project’ brings together very diverse social, national, and ethnic groups (refugees, expats, socially excluded, rich…), as well as offering volunteering opportunities for the elderly, foreigners, clients, i.e. for groups of people who find it more difficult to volunteer.
By highlighting the significance of embracing an ecological lifestyle, which includes practices such as re-use, recycling, and upcycling, the utilization of older items is validated as a matter of lifestyle, thereby removing the stigma associated with individuals who choose items due to economic hardships.
Distinguishing itself from many similar services across the Czech Republic, The Closet Project is not exclusive to single parents but welcomes everyone in need. We recognise the significance of championing concepts like degrowth, re-use, recycling, upcycling, and energy conservation.
Our charity wardrobe is located at Pellicova 2c, Brno. It’s 2 minutes from tram 5, 6 and 12 stop Šilingrovo náměstí.

How does it work?
- Please register by clicking the button at the end of this page.
- Confirm your registration via the email you entered.
- Reserve a date.
- You will receive a confirmation email within 48 hours.
Rules for Šatník visitors
- Please enter your name in latin letters. We will delete registrations in hieroglyphs, cyrillic, or other non-latin fonts.
- Enter your real name and surname. We will delete registrations with incomplete names or nicknames.
- You can visit Šatník once every 30 days. Please don’t book several dates for the same month, otherwise we will cancel the booking.
- If you can’t come, we ask you to cancel the reservation no later than 24 hours in advance, using the link in the email with your date confirmation.
- If you don’t come without justification, you won’t be able to visit Šatník next month.
